At Montgomery College we define psychology as the art and science of improving the quality of life through the understanding of behavior and mental processes. Our General Psychology classes are among the most interactive, student-oriented in the nation. A class size limit of 28 demonstrates our commitment. Visitors to our classroom may find students examining brains, analyzing perceptual illusions, training rats in a Skinner box or sharpening their creative skills by rescuing a make-believe baby. Out of class you will find optional assignments such as a Ropes/Challenge course, a parenting class, and a smoking cessation clinic. |
